Adult Sunday School Classes

9:00 am - We are currently viewing historian Ray Vander Laan’s excellent video series, That the World May Know. If you have not seen these videos — or even if you have — you’ll enjoy both the scenery and the insights. This class meets in the Fellowship Hall Overflow.

10:30 am -The Anchor Class is now studying religions and cults of the world, using Biblical perspective to compare and contrast beliefs such as Judaism, Catholicism, Islam, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses and others. You are invited to join us for this fascinating study. You need not be a Bible scholar and there is no homework for this class which meets in the church office conference room on Sunday mornings at 10:30.

10:30 am - Small Group Study that meets in the Fellowship Hall will be discussing Pastor Tony's sermons using questions he will provide. This is a good time to join the group. No homework required!

Small Groups

The Baker Small Group meets the first and third Sunday at 6 pm at the home of Bill and Julie Baker. Their new study, Max Lucado’s 3:16—The Numbers of Hope, begins February 17. Cost for materials is approximately $25 for both the hardcover book and study guide. Questions or if you’d like to join the group, call Julie Baker at 583-7482.

The McCarty Group will start a marriage study, Bill Hybel’s Building Real Intimacy, and anyone having questions or wishing to join the group, call Sheryl McCarty at 583-1387.

The third group, Prayer and Share, meets at the home of Sue and Larry Fritz on every other Sunday at 6 pm. The evening beings with a devotional followed by prayer requests and prayer. If you have questions or would like to join this group, call Sue or Larry at 582-1512.

 

Bible Studies (Organized by FPC)

Women's Saturday Morning Group - meets every other Saturday at the church at 8:30am. Child care is provided.

Men's Saturday Morning Group - meets every other Saturday in the church office for Bible Study and discipleship at 8:30am. Child care is provided.

Sunday Evening Small Groups - meets the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month.

Men's Tuesday Morning Group - meets in the office at 6:30am.

Women's Tuesday Lunch Group - meets in the church office at noon.

Four Sunday Morning Opportunities - two classes at the 9:00am hour and the other two meet during the 10:30am hour.

Body Life - Dinner at 6:00pm, classes follow at 6:30.

 

Women's Bible Study (Organized by Community Bible Study)

This Women's Bible Study is organized by Karen Newton and the National Organization, Community Bible Study. This year's 30-week course is on 1 & 2 Peter/Daniel/Colossians. The group meets every Wednesday from 9:15 to 11:15am now through April 30, 2008. There is a $20 registration fee.
