What is Calvin Crest? 

Calvin Crest is our local mountain conference center where summer camp is held for: families and children third grade—high school.  There are also opportunities for weekend conferences for:  College & Career, Couples’ & Women’s Conferences, and Youth Winter conferences.  Calvin Crest is located in the Sierra Mountains 10 miles from Oakhurst. 

Summer camp is a wonderful experience for all who attend.  Students going into 3rd grade can experience camp at Miwok.  This is an Indian setting with teepees to sleep in, outdoor cooking, and a wonderful area for learning about God with well trained paid staff.  Students going into 4th-6th grade can attend Sherwood Forest, a Robin Hood theme. Children will sleep in huts in various hamlets. They will be led by trained paid staff known as squires. This is a fun filled week of adventure. Students entering 6th—8th grade have two choices.  Sixth graders can go to either Sherwood Forest or attend Outpost Camp with 7th and 8th graders. Outpost is a smaller camp experience that is more rugged than Sherwood or Junior High Camp.  Junior High camp is for students entering 7th-9th grade.  This  is a high energy camp for boys and girls  It is a well staffed week of fun learning about God.  Students going into high school can attend High School Camp or AIM.  High school camp is for 9th—12th grade. This is much like Junior High Camp except geared for the older teenager.  AIM is for 10th—13th grade. It is a two-week intensive camp designed for high school students and college freshman who have made a commitment to Jesus Christ and are desiring deeper discipleship.

Come back to camp and enjoy the beauty of the Sierras and Yosemite which will still bring amazement and awe as it did when you were a kid. Spend six days touring, hiking, and photographing the majesty and splendor surrounding the camp.
Hear some storytelling, folksongs, hymns, and conversations with old and new friends as we gather around the campfire or the dinner table. Great food and accommodations in our hotel as well as wonderful fellowship, activities and teachings, rest and recreation await you.
