Our Mission
God loves children and so do we! Our desire is to go beyond simply "babysitting" your children and to engage them in the Word through fun activities, crafts, and lessons. We love to sing, play, and enjoy spending time nurturing your children in a loving setting with committed volunteers. You can be assured that our goal is for every child to leave feeling loved by God and the church family.
Sunday Mornings
9am Sunday School
"In God's House" Classes for children 4 years old thru 6th grade meet upstairs. Time begins together in the Powerhouse room (room 302) with singing, announcements, celebrations, offering & attendance. Childcare is offered in the toddler & nursery rooms for infants thru 4 year olds.
10:30am Worship & Powerhouse
Powerhouse is for 4 year olds thru 4th grade. The children are excused from church after the first praise song and are escorted upstairs to the Powerhouse room (room 302) for their continued church time. It begins with praise songs, attendance, offering, prayer and the Bible story. Then the children go into 2 groups for their age appropriate lessons. The Powerhouse time is designed to teach about Christ's love for us at a level understandable for children and to help prepare them to be ready to participate in regular worship when they reach 5th grade. Childcare is offered in the toddler & nursery rooms for infants thru 4 year olds.
Wednesday Evenings
Young Explorers: 6:30-7:45pm – a class for 4 year olds thru 4th graders
This class meets upstairs in Powerhouse room (room 302) and will be exploring Jewish festivals; encountering activities similar to those that Christ might have engaged in as a child.
Club 56: 6:30-7:45pm – a class for 5th & 6th graders
This class meets in the "camping" room (room 304) and will be studying Adventures in God's Word.
