God loves children and so do we! Our desire is to go beyond simply "babysitting" your children and to engage them in the Word through fun activities, crafts, and lessons. We love to sing, play, and enjoy spending time nurturing your children in a loving setting with committed volunteers. You can be assured that our goal is for every child to leave feeling loved by God and the church family.
9am Sunday School
Classes for children 4 years old through 5th grade meet upstairs. Time begins together in the Powerhouse room (room 302) with singing, announcements, celebrations, offering & attendance. Childcare is offered in the toddler and nursery rooms for infants through 3 years old.
10:30am Worship & Powerhouse
Powerhouse is for 4 year olds thru 4th grade. The children are excused from church and are escorted upstairs to the Powerhouse room (room 302) for their continued church time. The children have a time of offering, prayer and hear a Bible story. The Powerhouse time is designed to teach about Christ's love for us at a level understandable for children and to help prepare them to be ready to participate in regular worship when they reach 5th grade.
The offering collected each Sunday morning is used to support Carlla, the Compassion International Child supported by the children of First Presbyterian Church.
