What We Believe
We are the 400th church to join the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inerrant, divinely inspired written Word of God, and God’s revelation to a fallen and broken world. We further believe that the Bible is our sole authority in matters of faith and practice. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He is fully human and fully divine – God incarnate and the Word of God made flesh full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
We further believe he is the sole and unique Savior of the world (John 14:6), and that we must place our faith and trust in him as Savior and Lord in order to have a relationship with God, the Father. Scripture tells us that:
• Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2).
• All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Roman 3:23).
• The consequences of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus (Romans 6:23).
• When we profess Jesus as Savior and Lord, our sins are forgiven and we will receive eternal life (Romans 10:9).
If you have never made a faith commitment in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and you would like to, feel free to pray the following prayer. In so doing, please know that you have become a follower of Christ and a forgiven child of God (John 1:12). Loving Father, I realize that I have fallen short of your glory because of sin, and I am completely powerless to remedy the problem of sin in my life. I also realize that I receive forgiveness of sin only by placing my faith and trust in Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate price for the forgiveness of sin by dying on the cross. Lord, please forgive me and I now receive your Son, Jesus Christ, as my personal Savior and Lord. Thank you for your love, grace, mercy and forgiveness. Amen!
