“and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” Acts 1:8

The First Presbyterian Church Missions Ministry Team believes that Mission Outreach is an integral step in spreading God’s Word to the unreached, and God says to go into all the world and preach the gospel.  That is the reason why we support missions and missionaries who are involved in the task of bringing the gospel to other nations who need to hear about Jesus Christ.
 
Our Missions Ministry Team is committed to educating our congregation to both the obligation and joy of reaching out to the non-believers and disenfranchised of our world – as well as building up our fellow believers internationally.  We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that forgiveness of sin and eternal life are only through faith in Him.  But, as believers in Christ, we are called to not only meet people’s spiritual needs, but their physical and emotional needs as well.
 
Our congregation has been generous and faithful in committing funds to support both global and local missionary organizations.  Following is a partial list of organizations supported by First Presbyterian Church of Hanford.
